About Explorers Fire Academy
The Fire Explorer Program is dedicated to inspiring and guiding the youth of our community while developing the next generation of firefighters and emergency medical professionals. Participants explore careers in firefighting and emergency medical services, gaining firsthand experience to help them decide if public safety is the right path for them.
Fire Explorers get an inside look at fire department operations and take part in:
Training sessions in firefighting and first aid
Leadership in team bonding
Team-building activities and friendly competitions
Ride-along opportunities with on-duty firefighters
Through these experiences, Explorers develop leadership, communication, and teamwork skills—all while learning in a professional and supportive environment.
Our goal is to provide a realistic introduction to fire department operations while promoting learning, responsibility, and personal growth.
