About Junior Fire Academy

Welcome to the Hutto Fire Rescue- Junior Fire Academy! We’re thrilled to have your child join us for an exciting and educational experience. During the academy, participants will engage in a variety of hands-on activities including basic firefighting skills, basic first aid, team-building exercises, fire safety lessons, and interactive demonstrations with our firefighters and apparatus. To help make the experience feel even more authentic, each child will be issued a junior firefighter uniform to wear throughout the week. This program is designed to help kids build confidence, develop leadership skills, and gain a greater appreciation for the work we do here at Hutto Fire Rescue. Thank you for allowing your child to take part in this unique experience. We’re proud to support their growth and are looking forward to an unforgettable time!

The course will be three days long from 8 am-noon in June. See the schedule below for the exact dates for the upcoming classes. The class will be limited to the first 24 applicants, ages 8-12 years old. Classes fill up quickly so hurry and apply! Spots will be filled on a first come, first serve basis.
